From Scrambled Eggs to a Spatial Story
Every great concept starts with a spark—and this one began in the kitchen. A chef’s passion for crafting the perfect plate of scrambled eggs inspired a full-fledged interior concept for a café that’s as sunny and soulful as the breakfast that birthed it.
The brief was simple yet bold: translate the organic beauty and nostalgia of the chef’s signature dish into a space that celebrates design, flavor, and emotional connection. The result? A whimsical café concept where yolk-yellow hues, floral flourishes, and storytelling layers come together in a warm, welcoming space that’s part eatery, part boutique, and part installation art.
Interior Style & Vision
The aesthetic is a fusion of botanical charm, vintage Lebanese flair, and contemporary minimalism. The design plays with unexpected elements: egg-shaped motifs, pressed flowers, and repurposed materials that make the space feel authentic and ever-evolving.
Layout & Zoning (~40–60 sqm)
-
Dining Zone (25 sqm)
Seating for 12–16 guests with a mix of vintage Lebanese chairs and a floating banquette upholstered in printed botanical fabrics. Natural light, soft curves, and earthy tones create a cozy atmosphere for breakfast and beyond. -
Statement Art Wall
The focal point: a sculptural “Sunny Side Up” wall featuring resin egg forms with pressed floral yolks—a poetic nod to the café’s culinary origin. -
Concept Store (15 sqm)
A curated retail corner offering colorful ceramics, handmade preserves, sustainable lifestyle goods, and pastel-glazed tableware. The display table? A salvaged plank on terrazzo legs, shaped like cracked eggshells. -
Barista Station (5 sqm)
A compact terrazzo counter made of crushed yellows, violets, and greens, reminiscent of herbs and florals from the kitchen. -
(Optional) Outdoor Nook
A serene corner with jasmine vines, a wooden bench, and a potted lemon tree, offering a perfect morning escape.

The café becomes a multi-sensory design experience, not just a place to eat.
